Registered Behavior Technician/student analyst
Elijah Arroyo, BS
Elijah is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a background in psychology and a strong interest in applied behavior analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently working toward his Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Elijah plans to continue his education by attending medical school to specialize in psychiatry, with the goal of combining behavioral and medical perspectives in his future work.
He has experience working in a residential group home setting with children between the ages of 5 and 17. In this environment, Elijah supported individuals diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and schizophrenia. His experience has helped him build a strong foundation in behavior management, structured support, and meaningful client engagement.
Elijah’s favorite part of his role is the opportunity to teach and positively influence the children he works with. He values being a role model and finds it especially rewarding to see clients grow, develop new skills, and gain confidence over time. The progress each child makes is what motivates him most in his work.
He approaches both his professional and personal life with a philosophy rooted in respect, compassion, and a desire to create a more peaceful world. Elijah believes in treating everyone with kindness and understanding.
Outside of his work, Elijah enjoys exploring new knowledge and learning about a wide variety of subjects, including science, art, music, and people’s personal experiences. He plays guitar, enjoys painting, and has always had a love for animals—especially dogs. He values forming genuine connections and is naturally curious about others and the world around him.
