Jennifer Blair
Erin Mikalsen is a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician with a Bachelor’s degree in
Rehabilitation Studies from East Carolina University, with a minors in Psychology and Drug and
Alcohol Studies. She is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Ball State University, with aspirations of becoming a Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and potentially working within the school system. With over
three years of experience in various settings, including clinic environments, charter schools,
general education classrooms, and ESE classrooms, Erin has a broad and diverse background.
She has worked with clients aged 3-18, focusing predominantly on children aged 4-11, and has
experience with both high and low magnitude Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as
ADHD. Additionally, she has worked with adults with disabilities and served as a Student
Analyst for over a year.

Erin’s favorite aspect of her job is getting to know each individual client, identifying their
strengths and weaknesses, and assisting them in overcoming their challenges. She finds great
reward in watching clients achieve their goals, particularly those they have been working on for
an extended period. Her personal philosophy centers around the belief that everyone has the
potential to achieve great things, and she values the collaborative effort of caregivers and
professionals to help clients reach their goals. Erin’s passion for ABA is reflected in her
enjoyment of teaching skills that make clients’ lives easier and her commitment to working with
developmental ages to impart fundamental skills.

Outside of her professional life, Erin loves plants, enjoys art, and is active in water sports like
surfing and wakeboarding. A former Division 1 soccer player, she continues to play on an adult
co-ed team and has a deep love for animals, especially cats. Erin also has a strong appreciation
for nature, which complements her dynamic and engaging lifestyle.
