Join the Team!

Hidden Potential is looking for that special individual who is committed to changing lives and making an impact on those we serve. Applicants should be dedicated, hard-working, and ready to face the challenges of our field.

Ready to Help Make a Difference?

Hidden Potential is a boutique company with a focus on providing high-quality services to individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities and their families. We believe each case should have an active BCBA who knows the ins and outs of each child and provides regular supervision to their technicians. In the beginning of a case, the BCBA is expected to spend time directly with the child and family ensuring the treatment plan is in place and adequate for the child. The BCBA spends a lot of time training every technician on the case and gradually more hours are transferred to the technicians as is appropriate. Supervision is done in person so the BCBA can be an active member of the team and provide hands-on training to technicians and caregivers as needed. The BCBA also provides training to parents and other stakeholders regularly.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

As part of Hidden Potential Florida LLC team, it is the responsibility of the BCBA to conduct various descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments (e.g., functional analyses) and skill-based assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc.). The BCBA then provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results and designs comprehensive ABA treatment plans based off evidence-based practices and behavior analytic research literature. The BCBA provides training and supervision to Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and other responsible parties tasked with the implementation of behavior analytic interventions.  The BCBA then supervises and monitors treatment progress of a client through data-based progress monitoring.  The BCBA also provides training to parents/guardians and other responsible parties for the client.

Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician

At Hidden Potential Florida LLC, our behavior technicians are professionals who have completed a minimum of a 40-hour intensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), have successfully passed a competency assessment administered by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and received a passing score on the Registered Behavior Technician exam through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in order to become a Registered Behavior Technician. All behavior technicians are continually supervised by an agency BCBA on a weekly basis and engage in behavior analytic professional development activities. Behavior technicians are responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the BCBA. The behavior technician may also collect data and conduct certain types of assessments (e.g., stimulus preference assessments) under the supervision of a BCBA. The behavior technician is not responsible for the designing of interventions, conducting in-depth assessments, or developing skill acquisition or behavior reduction plans. It is the responsibility of the designated BCBA supervisor of the behavior technician to determine which tasks a behavior technician may perform as a function of his or her training, experience, and competence. The designated BCBA supervisor is ultimately responsible for the work performed by the behavior technician.
